1. Data Collection and Processing

1.1 Extension Usage

FaviconDownload.dev is designed with privacy at its core. The extension only accesses the current tab when you click the extension icon. All favicon downloads happen directly between your browser and the website you're visiting. We never intercept, store, or transmit this data.

1.2 Permissions

The extension requires these permissions:

activeTab - To detect favicons on the current tab only
downloads - To save favicon files to your computer
scripting - To detect favicon links in page HTML

2. No Data Collection

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. We do not use analytics, tracking cookies, or any third-party services. The extension works entirely offline and locally in your browser.

3. Your Rights

Since we don't collect any data, there is no personal data to access, modify, or delete. You can uninstall the extension at any time through Chrome's extension settings.

4. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
